I did the bulk of the paint job on this piece during a winter holiday weekend. I took my travel painting kit and painted in the hotel bar after the days' snowboarding. I enjoyed the fun of painting outside of the workshop and putting the travel painting kit through its' paces. I was quite limited for my color palette but that is part of the fun. 

All in all, I am quite pleased with the end result. I finished the base off once the holidays were over. For the base I particularly enjoyed using Krycells' Precision Snow, that stuff is wonderful! Also, I had a lot of fresh memories of snowy landscapes from the holidays!
